Khloe's Beautiful Blues

Meet Khloe

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BULLIED?

Your story matters. Healing begins when we can write and share our stories. Storytelling offers the space to reflect and move past painful moments. Your life may feel ordinary to you but extraordinary to someone else. Every story shared is a chance to make someone else feel less lonely.

There is power in our stories. When you are brave enough to share your story, others may relate, and it helps them process events from their life through your perspective. When they hear a different perspective about a similar experience, it could be the mindset shift; they need to begin their healing journey.

IMPACTS OF BULLYING

Children who are bullied can experience negative physical, social, emotional, academic, and mental health issues, says stop bullying.org. They also shared that media reports often link bullying with suicide, and a small number of bullied children might retaliate through extremely violent measures.

The experience of being bullied can cause lasting emotional damage to victims and shape them as adults. Physical wounds heal, but the lasting impact of words damages the ability to view yourself as a desirable, capable, and effective human being.

La'Ketta Caldwell,
Founder & CEO at KeytaLife

Ms. Caldwell has been passionate about storytelling since a child. She loved listening to her grandmother tell stories about growing up on a farm. Her passion for art and therapy took her to New York to study Drama Therapy. Throughout her education and work, Ms. Caldwell has seen the transformational power of individual stories. Creating safe spaces for youth and individuals to share their journey is one of Ms. Caldwell's work pillars. Khloe's Blues resonated deeply with Ms. Caldwell because of her journey of loving her unique beauty and skin. She deeply believes in her work to remind and empower others to be who they were created to be, which, as she says, always says to each client they are "AMAZING."
